The silent Bulgarian dissident speaks out. He is a clinical photographer, water volleyball competitor, romantic, adored by women. One night, he becomes an enemy to the totalitarian regime and finds himself imprisoned after surviving a gunshot in the leg. His name is Simon and is a victim of political policing. The Berlin wall had fallen but Simon Versano refuses to become a hero.
Goergi Tenev (b. 1969) is an author, playwright and script-writer. He is the creator of conceptual projects which make use of archives, individual memory and XXth century political history. Writes and records portraits of contemporary visual artists.
